Habitat description
Streams, seeps, springs and spray zones of waterfalls, but possibly also headwaters, shaded by forest. Usually with rocks and often emergent vegetation like ferns and/or submerged roots. From 0 to 1000 m above sea level, but mostly below 1000, although possibly up to 1600.
